Indication
Adjunctive therapy for Osteoarthritis
Instruction
Should be taken with food. Adult 1 tab tds. Severe OA Initially, 1 tab tds for at least 8-12 wk. Mild to moderate OA 1 tab bd for at least 6 wk. Follow-up/maintenance therapy 1 tab bd for 3-4 mth. Repeated every other ≤6 mth.
Drug interaction
May impair insulin secretion. Reduced antidiabetic effect of acarbose, acetohexamide, chlorpropamide, glipizide, glyburide, metformin, miglitol, pioglitazone, repaglinide, rosiglitazone, glimepiride, tolbutamide, troglitazone. Reduced dosorubicin, etoposide, teniposide effect. Potentiation of anticoagulant effects of warfarin.
