Indication
Sedation of initially intubated & mechanically ventilated patients during treatment in ICU. Sedation of non-intubated patients prior to &/or during surgical & other procedures.
Drug interaction
Enhanced effects w/ anaesth, sedatives, hypnotics, opioids. Enhanced hypotensive & bradycardic effects w/ β-blockers.
