The Adelaide Hills wine region is renowned for producing some of Australia's most exciting cool climate wines. With an average altitude of about 600 meters, the climate is significantly cooler than that of neighboring areas. The cool, dry summer and fall ripening periods produce balanced fruit flavors and natural acidity.
Very light straw color with slight green tinges; aromas of citrus and lemongrass blended with tropical aromas of gooseberry and pineapple. The taste is fresh and crisp, with lovely acidity. Flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, lemon and passion fruit linger long after the wine has been swallowed.
