Deskripsyon
KTH 7798 ALUMINIUM PAINT is a single component solvent based aluminium paint. It is has fast drying time, thus most suitable for industrial steel structural work. It gives silvery and semi-gloss finishing to painted surfaces.
Applications
- As primer or top coat in a multi-coat coating system. Most suitable for use on steel, GI and others surfaces. Main for general industrial steel painting.
Composition
- Pigment: Aluminium paste.
- Binder: Modified alkyd resin
- Solvent: Hydrocarbon
Physical Characteristics of the Paint
- Density : 0.92– 0.98
- Volume Solid : 44 ± 5%
- Viscosity : 45 ± 5 KU at 30°C
- Theoretical Coverage : 9 – 11 m2 /litre
- Colour : Aluminium
Coating Properties
- Recommended Dry Film Thickness : 35 - 45 microns per coat
- Recommended Wet Film Thickness : 80 - 100 microns per coat
- Recommended Coating System : 1) AC 750 or AC 736 / 7798 / 7798 2) 7798 / 7798
- Recommended Numbers of coat : One to two
- Drying Time : Touch Dry – 15 mins, Dry to handle – 1 hour
- Recoating interval : At least 8 hours
- Curing Time : 1 day
