Oxygen is produced by air separation processes. The application of oxygen stem is mainly on its oxidizing and life-sustaining properties. In the industrial application, it is extensively used in the metals industry for steelmaking and metal-cutting applications. A typical application is mixed with acetylene to generate acetylene/oxygen flame with a temperature over 3000°C.
