With over 22 years of dedicated service, Turning Point Dance Academy has established itself as one of the largest and most respected dance schools in Seremban. Our academy is home to a team of qualified instructors, including several registered teachers from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). We specialize in ballet, focusing on developing correct posture, balance, and coordination, essential for everyday movements.
Ballet:
At Turning Point, we emphasize creativity and musicality through the RAD graded system, which provides structured opportunities for students to progress and achieve their goals. Our ballet curriculum is designed to enhance awareness of body alignment, promoting a lengthened spine and square hips, which translates into improved standing, sitting, and walking habits.
Pilates:
Complementing our ballet training, we offer Pilates classes that focus on increasing core strength, flexibility, and mobility, further enhancing overall performance and well-being.
Our students progress through various levels, starting from Pre-Primary and Primary, before advancing to graded and vocational graded levels. The Graded Syllabus spans grades 1 to 8, incorporating ballet, free movement, and character dance. This syllabus is suitable for candidates aged seven years (Grades 1–5) and eleven years (Grades 6–8).
Vocational Graded Syllabus:
For our older ballet students, the vocational syllabus develops advanced technique, musicality, and performance skills, preparing them for a career in dance or related fields.
Our graded and vocational graded exams provide students with recognized certifications, marking their achievements at a high level in dance. These qualifications are widely accepted by vocational schools, universities, and higher education institutions that offer degree programs in the performing arts.
