Description and Use
Kleen MCT405 is a proprietary liquid caustic blend containing surfactants and detergents, specifically designed to remove organic foulants such as oils and bioproteins from membrane elements. This highly effective cleaner ensures superior cleaning, resulting in longer system run times and extended membrane life.
Typical Applications:
- Organic materials and suspended solids accumulate on membrane surfaces, causing fouling that impedes water flow and may lead to irreversible membrane damage.
- Cleaning is recommended before significant issues arise, such as decreased permeate flow, increased pressure drop, or unacceptable product water quality.
- Clean-in-place (CIP) off-line cleaning is necessary when fouling is detected, and Kleen MCT405 is ideal for removing organic foulants.
Regular cleaning with Kleen MCT405 will preserve membrane life when used alongside a low pH cleaner like Kleen MCT103 for scale and particulate removal.
