Content
Active Ingredient: Carbamazepine (400 mg per tablet), an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer.

Indication
Effective for the treatment of:
Epilepsy: Controls partial seizures, tonic-clonic seizures, and mixed seizure types.
Trigeminal neuralgia: Relieves facial nerve pain.
Bipolar disorder: Stabilizes mood in manic-depressive illness.
Instruction
Dosage:
The initial adult dose for epilepsy is typically 200 mg twice daily, adjusted gradually based on clinical response.
For trigeminal neuralgia, an initial dose of 100 mg twice daily may be increased if needed.
Administration:
Take orally with or without food.
Swallow tablets whole with water; avoid crushing or chewing.
Precautions:
Avoid use if allergic to carbamazepine or tricyclic antidepressants.
Routine monitoring of blood counts and liver function is recommended during therapy.
Common side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, or mild skin reactions.
