BELZONA-1591 was designed originally for the offshore oil and gas production industry, where problems of salt water corrosion and chemical attack are intensified by ever-increasing operating temperatures, this product also provides solutions to industries such as petrochemical, power, and metal processing by offering:

Corrosion protection at immersed conditions at temperatures in excess of 180ºC (356ºF)

Resistance to wide range of aqueous and hydrocarbon mixtures, high pressures, and erosion

Ability to post cure in service requiring no additional external heating equipment
Applications include

High temperature epoxy coating for process vessels, distillation columns, heat exchangers, clarifiers and scrubber units

Repair of damaged linings on equipment operating at high temperatures including glass flake and other epoxy coatings
