Description
A test piece is placed over acircular elastic diaphragm which is rigidly clamped at the periphery but freeto bulge with the diaphragm. Hydraulic fluid is pumped at a constant rate, andbulged the diaphram until the test piece rutures. The bursting strength of thetest piece is the maxium value of the applied hydraulic pressure.
