The RG-59/U cable is suitable for use with low-power video and radio frequency signal connections, like those found in video recorders and satellite receivers. High-density polyethylene (PE) foam provides insulation, which helps to protect operators from electric shocks. The PE foam is gas-injected and crush-resistant, so it's able to withstand rough handling during installation and use. This material also resists chemicals and the ageing effects of UV light for longevity in harsh conditions.
