With just a convenient click, the new intuitive control switch can handle a wide range of functions, including smartphone connectivity, navigation and cruise control.
The 5-inch full-color TFT display is updated with four customisable themes and smartphone connectivity via the Y-connect app, allowing riders to receive calls, texts, and listen to music. Real-time traffic updates and full map navigation can be accessed through the free Garmin StreetCross app.
Amplifier grilles are specially designed with perforated openings above the fuel tank to accentuate the high frequency sounds of the engine, delivering an exhilarating sound of speed right to the rider’s ears.
The Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) offers three preset riding modes-SPORT, STREET, and RAIN-plus two customizable options for engine power and electronic intervention, all adjustable via the TFT screen or through the Y-CONNECT app.
The Brembo radial master cylinder delivers a linear pressure supply to the four-piston calipers on the dual 298mm front discs, providing outstanding braking performance with fingertip control.
A standard Type C port for charging mobile and portable devices
The subframe has been redesigned to improve the rider’s stability while the spring rate has been increased to ensure better handling and cornering performance across various road conditions.
The redesigned fuel tank is now slimmer for a forward-learning riding position while the 2-part seat has been upgraded to provide comfort for both rider and passenger.
Both the handlebars and footrests can now be adjusted to two positions to suit the rider’s physique for enhanced comfort and better overall control of the bike.
