Indications
Colodium is used to treat:
- Acute nonspecific diarrhea
- Chronic diarrhea associated with inflammatory bowel disease or gastroenteritis
- Reduction of ileostomy discharge volume
Dosage & Administration
- Adults and children over 12 years:
- Initial dose: 2 capsules (4 mg)
- Subsequent dose: 1 capsule (2 mg) after each loose stool
- Maximum daily dose: 6 capsules (12 mg)
- Children under 12 years: Consult a doctor before use
