Malaysia has a range of good durians because of its unique weather. One of the most well known durian specie is called the MusangKing, named after Musang, the forest civets cat. We all know that the Musang Cat has a good nose and they know how to detect the best durian from the hundreds of durian trees of different speices. It was the Musang that has discovered this delicious durian that is now named after the cat, Musang King. Durian farmers from Raub area brought the species back there to cultivate. Raub ( Sg Klau) is one of the largest production area for Musang King.
