Snap limit switches are electromechanical detection devices designed to count objects as they pass by. They use springs to open and close connections, allowing them to change the direction of power between two devices quickly. Acting as sensors, they make or break electrical connections when triggered by contact.
This limit switch has a roller lever. It's easy to use and has a convenient screw terminal. Constructed from robust zinc alloy, it won't be affected by magnetic disturbances.
The product has a standardised dimension so it complies with EN 50047 and EN 50041. The casing is IP66 compliant and the double-insulated plastic casing is built to IP65 standard so it's water- and dust-resistant. These features make it suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications, such as acting as a tool for safety interlocks and machinery control systems.
