This snap limit switch is used to automatically control mechanical equipment, particularly in industrial applications. Easy to install and with a simple visible operation, it can start, stop or slow down a device when a limit is reached. This could be when a pre-set number of objects is counted, for example, or when a part moves past a specific point.
The switch is capable of handling currents up to 10 A. Its long-lasting, reliable snap action ensures precise, repeatable contact closure. The rotary lever actuator is easily adjusted, which is useful if you're not sure what arm length is required.
This limit switch is made from UL-VO (flame-retardant) thermoplastic fibreglass, which offers double insulation. It also comes with an IP65 protection rating for dust and oil resistance. A versatile component, this snap limit switch is suitable for controlling anything from a robotic arm to a furnace or a garage door.
