SikaCoat®-500 Super is a one-component, water-based, liquid elastic waterproofing coating, based on styrene-acrylic copolymers with integral micro-fiber reinforcement. SikaCoat®-500 Super coating system is formulated to provide the enhanced tensile strength of the coating product and forms a flexible, tough, and durable reinforced protective waterproofing membrane layer. It is suitable for use in hot and tropical climates.
Uses
Waterproofing of flat (horizontal) roofs and on other types of substrates, including concrete decks/roof, asbestos roof, roof tiles (either concrete or clay type), cement mortar, metal/zinc roofs, tiles.
Waterproofing layer under tiles, e.g. balcony.
Vertical wall coating against surface water infiltration, bricks with plaster layer, mortars, roof tiles, repair of tiles, and zinc eaves.
Good penetration in cracks, and resistance to cracking.
Able to absorb expansion and shrinkage movement without cracking.
Good bonding to various substrates.
Environmentally friendly.
Water-base and non-flammable.
Odorless and Non-toxic.
