VICKS VAPORUB / INHALER

VICKS VAPORUB 10g / 25g / 50g

For relief, massage VICKS VAPORUB on throat, chest and back.-

For use in steam: Partly fill a bowl with steaming water, add 2 teaspoonfuls of VapoRub and inhale vapours for 10-15 minutes. Repeat as necessary. Children should be closely supervised to avoid scalding.

When using this product, do not apply heat, or heat/reheat (using microwave/stove), add to boiling water or container where water is being heated. Failure to follow these instructions can cause hot product to splatter and burn your face or body.

PRODUCT BENEFITS:

VICKS VAPORUB is a medicine which provides symptomatic relief from blocked nose, cough and muscular aches and pains due to colds.

PRODUCT ACTIONS:

VICKS VAPORUB works two ways:

1) Vapour action : When applied, the special Vicks medications turn into medicinal vapours. These are inhaled to help clear blocked nose, ease breathing and coughing. For deeper relief, use in steam as instructed below.

2) Warming action: When rubbed, the special VICKS medication helps soothe muscular aches and pains due to colds.

CAUTION:

* For external use only.

* Avoid contact with eyes.

* Camphor can cause convulsion.

* Keep out of reach of children

* For use on adults and children above 2 years. Caution must be exercised when treating children.

* Use is contraindicated in infants below 2 years of age.

* Do not use by mouth, with tight bandages or heating pads, in nostrils, on wounds or damaged skin.

* Consult doctor if fever, cough or other symptoms persist and/or if pregnant or breastfeeding.

* Stop use if irritation develops.

It is dangerous to place any camphor containing product into nostril of children. A small amount applied this way may cause immediate collapse.

VICKS INHALER 0.5ml

Use only with head in upright position. Inhale deeply through each nostril in turn, while holding other nostril closed. Makes breathing feel clear and cool. Use any time it is needed. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

WARNING:

Camphor can cause convulsion and is contraindicated in infants below 2 years of age. Caution must be exercised when older children are treated .
