Content

• Active Ingredients: Each tablet contains 12.5 mg of empagliflozin and 1000 mg of metformin hydrochloride.

• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: As an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when treatment with both empagliflozin and metformin is appropriate.
• Inadequate Control: For patients inadequately controlled with metformin or empagliflozin alone, or in combination with other glucose-lowering products including insulin.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: To reduce the risk of cardiovascular death in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus and established cardiovascular disease.

• Dosage: The recommended starting dose is 12.5 mg of empagliflozin and 1000 mg of metformin twice daily. The maximum recommended daily dose is 25 mg of empagliflozin and 2000 mg of metformin.
• Administration: Take the tablet with meals to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
• Renal Impairment: In patients with an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) between 30–44 mL/min/1.73 m², empagliflozin is not recommended. For eGFR between 45–59 mL/min/1.73 m², the maximum daily dose is 2,000 mg of metformin.
