Per 5 mL Salbutamol 2 mg, bromhexine HCl 4 mg
Indication
Mucolytic expectorant for clearance of viscid purulent sputum in acute & chronic brochiectasis & whooping cough.
Instruction
Adults: 5ml 3 to 4 times a day.
Children below 6 years: 1.25 to 2.5 ml 3 to 4 times a day.
Older children: 2.5 to 5ml 3 to 4 times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
Drug interaction
Inhibited bronchodilator effect by β-blockers. Augmented hypokalemia by diuretics & xanthines.
