Diclofenac diethylamine
Indication
Post-traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles & joints. Localised forms of soft-tissue rheumatism eg, tendinitis, shoulder-hand syndrome, bursitis, periarthropathy. 2% Symptomatic treatment of small & medium-sized joints OA located close to skin eg, fingers or knee joints.
Instruction
Adult, childn from 12 yr & elderly >65 yr Apply to affected areas bd every morning & evening for not >14 days.
Drug interaction
Emulgel 2%: Since systemic absorption of diclofenac from topical application is very low, such interactions are very unlikely.
