Desloratadine
Indication
Rapid relief of symptoms associated w/ allergic rhinitis eg, sneezing, nasal discharge & itching, congestion/stuffiness, ocular itching, tearing & redness. Relief of symptoms associated w/ chronic idiopathic urticaria eg, itching, size & number of hives.
Instruction
May be taken with or without food.
Drug interaction
Potential increase in plasma concentrations w/ drugs affecting hepatic microsomal enzymes (e.g. azithromycin, cimetidine, erythromycin, fluoxetine, ketoconazole).
