The MFV27, part of Emaux's MFV Max series, is a robust 27-inch heavy-duty pool filter. The Max series of swimming pool filters is expertly crafted from a single, molded piece of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), recognized for its strength and dependability. This UV-resistant plastic can withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight, making it a durable choice for extended use.
Thanks to the innovative design within the Max series, the MFV27 boasts an impressive maximum operating pressure of 2.8 bar (40 psi) and can handle temperatures up to 50°C. As a result, this filter is ideally suited for use with spa pools or swimming pools that necessitate heating.
Top-Mount Design:
This heavy-duty 27-inch pool filter features a space-saving top-mount design. The valve is affixed to the upper section of the filter vessel using a unique one-piece clamp system. Thanks to this design, installation and maintenance are effortless, requiring no tools. The 6-way multiport valve is constructed from durable ABS and marine-grade stainless steel, ensuring that the filter remains non-reactive. Consequently, it can be seamlessly used with alternative disinfection systems such as salt or UV chlorination.
The MFV27 necessitates approximately 185kg of sand for optimal operation. However, we recommend utilizing recycled glass filter media (RGFM) for achieving a brilliantly clear pool. By opting for RGFM, you can potentially realize long-term cost savings, as it requires approximately 15% less media and offers a longer lifespan compared to traditional sand. The recommended media size for this pool filter is 0.5-0.8mm.
