SPANJAARD FOOD GRADE HTS SILICONE GREASE.
Product Description:
Spanjaard HTS Silicone Grease (Food Grade) is an inorganically thickened silicone lubricant, designed to perform in both low and high-temperature environments. This grease is water-resistant, chemically inert, and boasts excellent insulating properties. It offers a long lifespan, even under conditions where conventional greases fail. This food-grade lubricant is odourless, tasteless, non-conductive, and non-staining.
Applications:
1) Food Processing Industry:
- Formulated for incidental food contact, complying with FDA section 21 CFR 178.3570, and registered with NSF as a category H1 lubricant. Suitable for packaging, pharmaceutical, and other cleanroom environments. Halaal and Kosher certified.
2) Lubrication:
- Ideal for rubber and plastic components, including O-rings, gaskets, valves, and seals.
- Excellent for assembly where elastomers and plastics move against metal.
- Suitable for lubricating plastic gears and mechanisms.
3) Water and Corrosion Resistance:
- Seals electrical equipment against moisture and protects metal parts from corrosion.
- Applications include sealing outdoor electrical fittings, protecting chrome plating, and sealing screw threads and battery terminals.
4) Insulating Compound:
- Non-conductive, preventing electrical leakage and short-circuiting.
- Suitable for sealing and potting electrical/electronic components, preventing tracking on insulators, protecting automobile ignition systems, and preventing ionization and sparking.
5) Releasing Agent:
- Used in the rubber and plastics industries for various applications such as a release agent for resins, preventing component binding, and acting as a mold release for rubber.
- Useful in preventing resin build-up when using epoxy and other glues, and preventing icing in freezers.
Directions for Use:
- Apply by hand or using a grease gun.
