Tuning Forcep

Design and Features:

• A tuning fork consists of a U-shaped bar made of elastic metal (usually steel).
• It has two prongs (tines) that resonate at a specific constant pitch when struck.
• The pitch depends on the length and mass of the prongs.
• Tuning forks emit a pure musical tone once the high overtones fade out.
