Content
Active Ingredient: Ponatinib (45 mg per tablet), a tyrosine kinase inhibitor.
Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate.
Form: White, round, biconvex film-coated tablet.
Indication
Used for the treatment of adults with:
Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) in chronic, accelerated, or blast phases resistant to prior tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy.
Philadelphia Chromosome-Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ ALL) resistant to prior tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy.
Instruction
Dosage:
Recommended starting dose: 45 mg once daily. Adjustments may be made based on patient response and side effects.
Administration:
Taken orally, with or without food.
Regular monitoring of blood counts and liver function is essential during treatment.
Precautions:
Monitor for arterial thrombosis, hepatotoxicity, and other serious side effects.
