- Active Ingredient: Esomeprazole Sodium (equivalent to 40 mg Esomeprazole)
Indication:
ESCOPRO is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is also used for the prevention of gastric ulcers associated with the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Instructions:
- Dosage: The typical dose for adults is 40 mg once daily. For patients with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, the initial dose may be higher.
- Administration: The powder should be reconstituted with 100 mL of 5% glucose solution or 0.9% saline. The reconstituted solution should be administered via intravenous infusion over 20-30 minutes.
- Monitoring: Patients should be monitored for adverse reactions and effectiveness of the treatment.
- Precautions: Use with caution in patients with impaired hepatic function. Dose adjustments may be necessary.
