Content:
Tussifed Syrup contains the following active ingredients:
- Triprolidine Hydrochloride: 1.25mg/5ml
- Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride: 30mg/5ml
Indication:
Tussifed Syrup is indicated for the temporary relief of nasal and sinus congestion associated with the common cold and allergic rhinitis.
Instructions:
- Dosage:
- Adults: 2 teaspoonfuls (10ml) three or four times a day as needed, not exceeding 40ml per day.
- Children 6-12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5ml) three or four times a day.
- Children 2-5 years: 1/2 teaspoonful (2.5ml) three or four times a day.
- Administration: Take the syrup orally with water.
- Precautions: Use with caution in young children, geriatric patients, and those with thyrotoxicosis. Avoid use in patients with hypersensitivity to triprolidine or pseudoephedrine, and in patients with asthmatic attacks.
- Monitoring: Regularly monitor for any side effects such as drowsiness, dry mouth, or increased heart rate. Report any adverse effects to your healthcare provider.
