Azithromycin Powder for Oral Suspension 200mg/5ml (Lesvi Lab) contains the active ingredient azithromycin dihydrate. Each 5 mL of the reconstituted suspension contains 200 mg of azithromycin.
Indications:
Azithromycin is used for the treatment of:
-Chest infections: Such as acute bronchitis and pneumonia.
-Throat, ear, or nasal infections: Including tonsillitis, pharyngitis, acute otitis media, and sinusitis.
-Skin and soft tissue infections: Such as folliculitis, cellulitis, and erysipelas.
-Sexually transmitted diseases: Caused by Chlamydia trachomatis, Haemophilus, or Gonorrhoea.
Instructions:
Dosage: Follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose for adults is 500 mg on the first day, followed by 250 mg once daily for the next 4 days.
Reconstitution: Add the specified amount of water to the powder and shake well to form a suspension. Follow the instructions provided with the medication for the exact amount of water to be added.
Administration:
Shake the bottle well before each use.
Measure the dose using the provided measuring device.
It can be taken with or without food.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
