Guided wave radar for level and interface measurement
The new VEGAFLEX Series 80 guided wave radar sensors from VEGA are the logical further development of the plics® concept. Alongside the simple instrument selection and guided setup, measurement certainty and reliability are the focus of this new development of guided wave radar. You can use the new VEGAFLEX Series 80 for level and interface measurement in practically any application.
Simple, reliable and versatile
The application range of VEGAFLEX Series 80 guided wave radar sensors is more versatile than ever before. The user simply has to select the sensor best suited to his application. Cable, rod and tube versions, standard process fittings and application-optimized housings – combined with the electronics versions 4...20 mA/Hart, Profibus PA, Foundation Fieldbus and Modbus – leave nothing to be desired.
Automatic probe end tracking allows the measurement of media with a dielectric constant less than 1.6. There is also a function that enables fast revaluation of the measured value for rapid filling rates. In difficult measuring situations, automatic runtime correction with reference signal ensures measurement certainty.
Integrated memories for measured values, events and echo curves provide information on all important sensor and process conditions. Additional diagnostic algorithms and asset management functions acc. to NE 107 reduce the costs of servicing and maintenance to a minimum.
The guided wave radar sensors have of course all necessary approvals, e.g. ATEX, FM, WHG or SIL 2/3.
