Description
Spanjaard Mechanic Blue is a blue coloured locator of high spots or contact areas on bearings and shaft gears, valve seats and other critical areas during manufacture.
Application
Spanjaard Mechanic Blue leaves a blue colour film that allows detection as shiny metallic high spots or streaks when surfaces are moved relative to one another - e.g.
- Bearing and shaft high spots.
- Gear meshing and alignment.
- Correct valve seating.
- Critical contact areas.
Use Spanjaard Hi-Spot Blue if an aerosol product is required.
Application Instruction
Smear a thin layer of Spanjaard Mechanic Blue on bearing and shaft or other mating surfaces. High spots will be shown as bright streaks or points when mating surfaces are moved or turned relative to each other.
