Activated Alumina Desiccant

Activated Alumina has a high absorption capacity in the air drying system. The desiccant will not swell, shrink, or soften when immersed in water. It acts as a valuable tool in many industrial process settings. When heated up to 200 °C, activated alumina can release trapped water molecules. It is used to remove chemicals such as fluoride, arsenic, and sulfur from gas streams and is used in high vacuum applications.
