The appearance of the skin is closely related to the moisture content of the skin. Normal skin stratum corneum contains sufficient moisture to maintain the softness and elasticity of the skin. However, due to aging or improper care, the moisture in the stratum corneum decreases, and the skin becomes dry and tight, rough and desquamated, and even dry lines and fine lines appear. Especially in winter, the skin's moisture retention is particularly important.
1. The characteristics of dry skin
Sebum secretion is less, the skin is dry, rough, lacking in elasticity, and prone to small wrinkles. Capillary surface is easy to rupture, more sensitive to external stimulation, prone to erythema. Facial skin is dull, no luster, easy to crack, dandruff, spots, and difficult to apply makeup. But the appearance is relatively clean, and the skin is loose, prone to wrinkles and aging.
2. Maintenance focus
Do more massage care to promote blood circulation, pay attention to use of moisturizing, whitening, active repair cream and nutrient cream. Pay attention to care that supplements the skin's moisture and nutrients, and regulates the balance of water and oil.
3. Skin care products selection
Do not bathe too frequently and overuse facial cleansers. Pay attention to care and use products that maintain nutrition. Choose non-foaming, low-alkaline cleansing products and moisturizing lotions. You can wash your face with cold water to clear the cleanser and make your skin feel fresh, strengthen and stimulate the blood circulation of the face, and make the complexion appear brighter. After washing your face, use a cotton pad soaked in moisturizing softening lotion to gently wipe horizontally across the face to add a protective film to the skin.
4. Dietary recommendations
Sufficient high-quality protein, fresh fruits and vegetables, and plenty of water can help us maintain supple skin. The suggestions are as follows
1. Eat more than 20 kinds of food every day (excluding condiments).
2. The daily staple food consists of 1/3 white rice and noodles, 1/3 coarse grains and 1/3 cooked potatoes (no fried food).
3. One catty of fresh vegetables (half of dark green vegetables) and half a catty of fruits (1-2 pieces) a day.
4. Every day a cup of milk and moderate amounts of fish, poultry, eggs and lean meat (eggs: no more than 2 per day, meat: the size of a palm per day).
5. Animal liver once a week, deep-sea fish 2-3 times a day, 1 small handful of nuts a day. Eat more red, yellow, and dark green vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, and sweet peppers. Its rich vitamin A and carotene are very important for skin health.
