Per 5 mL Salbutamol sulfate 1 mg, guaifenesin 50 mg
Indication
Relief of viscosity of tenacious sputum, reduce bronchospasm & airway resistance in asthmatic patients.
Instruction
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals. Adult 10-20 mL bd-tds. Childn >12 yr 10-20 mL bd, 7-12 yr 10 mL bd, 2-6 yr 5-10 mL bd.
Drug interaction
Non-selective β-blocking drugs eg, propranolol. Potentiated vascular effects w/ TCAs or MAOIs.
