Indication
Mucolytic expectorant for clearance of viscid purulent sputum in acute & chronic brochiectasis & whooping cough.
Instruction
Older childn 2.5-5 mL tds-qds, <6 yr 1.25-2.5 mL tds-qds.
Drug interaction
Inhibited bronchodilator effect by β-blockers. Augmented hypokalemia by diuretics & xanthines.
