The MFS24, a heavy-duty pool filter measuring 600mm, belongs to Emaux's MFS Max series. These swimming pool filters are expertly crafted from a single, molded piece of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a material renowned for its durability and reliability. The UV-resistant plastic used in their construction ensures they can withstand years of sun exposure, making them exceptionally durable.
Thanks to the innovative design incorporated into the Max series, the MFS24 boasts a maximum operating pressure of 2.8 bar (40 psi) and can handle temperatures of up to 50°C. This combination of features makes it the ideal choice for spa pools or swimming pools that require heating.
Side Mount Design:
This 24 inch heavy duty pool filter has a easy to use side mount design. The side mount valve allows for simple maintenance of the system while the pressure gauge is on top of the lid for easy inspection The 6-way multiport valve is made from sturdy ABS and marine-grade stainless steel which means the filter is non-reactive. Therefore it can be used with alternative disinfection systems such as salt or UV chlorination.
The MFS24 will need around 125kg of sand. However, we recommend using recycled glass filter media (RGFM) to get a crystal clear pool. By using the RGFM you could also save yourself some money in the long run as you use around 15% less media and it has a longer lifespan than traditional sand. The recommended size of media for this pool filter is 0.5-0.8mm.
