Magneto Bearings | Small, Easy-to-Mount Bearings for High-Speed Applications
The inner ring groove of magneto bearings is slightly shallower than that of deep groove bearings and the outer ring bore diameter on the side without a shoulder is cylindrical from the bottom. The outer ring may be separated, allowing easier mounting.
In general, two of these bearings are used together in a paired mounting (sometimes called “duplex pairs”).
Magneto bearings are small bearings with a bore diameter of 4 to 20 mm. Pressed brass cages are standard, though machined synthetic resin cages can be used for high-speed rotation.
