The HI-98594 features Bluetooth 5.0 with full connectivity to the Hanna Lab app, allowing for easy, reliable cloud-based transfer of data in the field.
This water testing meter is an ideal solution for measurement in a range of sectors, including:
The HI-98594 is an advanced, highly accurate handheld meter, providing a rugged and practical solution for measuring water anywhere. The handheld design of this meter allows it to be utilised in a wide range of environments, with a portable carrying case to enable convenient movement to different sites.
This handheld advanced water analysis meter is designed to withstand a wide range of environments and applications, from groundwater analysis to aquaculture monitoring. The multi-sensor probe includes all the necessary sensors for simultaneous measurement, ensuring accuracy in testing results across multiple parameters.
The HI-98594 is equipped with a multi-sensor probe for the measurement of 14 key water parameters, with the ability to display from 1 to 12 parameters at once on the screen. These parameters include:
The HI-7698594 probe provides an easy-to-use solution for testing multiple parameters at once. This pre-installed probe includes a combined pH/ORP sensor, a combined EC/Turbidity sensor, an Optical Dissolved Oxygen sensor and a temperature sensor as standard. Simple, screw-type, colour-coded connectors and automatic sensor identification make swapping and changing sensors simple.
The compact, handheld size of the HI-98594 makes it easily portable and convenient in even the most challenging environments. The addition of a rugged carrying case with a thermoformed, moulded interior ensures all accessories and solutions can be securely stored and easily moved.
The HI-98594 water parameter meter has the capacity to store up to 50,000 samples at intervals between 1 second and 3 hours. Long-on-demand is available to store measurement data, and all logged information is transferred in a universal .csv format on connection to a computer. No additional software is required to extract data.
Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity enables the HI-98594 to send data directly to the Hanna Lab application, for completely remote access and transfer via smartphone or tablet. Log-on-demand and automatic logging are available for all parameters, and data can easily be reviewed and shared as an email, removing the time delay typically required to pass data on from fieldwork.
Automatic firmware updates for the meter and probe are available directly through the Hanna Lab app, requiring no computer connection to ensure the meter is up-to-date.
This multiparameter handheld meter connects to the included probe through a single waterproof Quick-DIN connector, making attaching and removing the probe a quick and easy task. The meter automatically detects the probe when connected, with no additional steps required.
A standard USB Type-C port allows for the easy transfer of data to a memory stick, PC, or other compatible devices. This port is also used to charge the internal lithium-ion battery.
The HI-98594 features a built-in lithium-ion battery that provides the primary charge for the instrument. A secondary power source, 1.5 AA alkaline batteries, ensures continued operation of the portable water meter when the lithium-ion battery runs out, with automatic switching for seamless measurement.
This compact multi-sensor probe is fully waterproof and equipped with a protective shield, making it ideal for water measurements in difficult environments. The HI-7698594 includes the following colour-coded, automatically-recognised sensors as standard:
HI-7698194-1
Combined pH/ORP sensor
HI-7698594-4
Combined EC/Turbidity sensor
HI-7698194-1
Optical Dissolved Oxygen sensor
An optional Flow Cell (HI-7698297) is also available in combination with the HI-98594 and HI-7698594 to suit specific application requirements such as low-flow sampling in groundwater analysis.
