The LKC non return valve operates based on pressure differentials within the process line. When the inlet pressure exceeds the spring force, the non-return valve opens automatically to allow flow in one direction. If the pressure drops or attempts to reverse, the spring and outlet pressure seal the valve, preventing backflow. In vertical installations, the LKC-2 Non-Return Valve requires a minimum pressure difference of approximately 6 kPa (0.06 bar) to initiate flow.
