On the morning of March 7, 2024, Chairman Xie Kun of the World Food and Agriculture Group visited Kafu Group in Angkasa Nuri, Melaka, Malaysia, at the invitation of Dato’ Wong Chong Lin, Managing Director of Kafu Group, for a business inspection. The visit focused on exploring cooperation opportunities for the Musang King durian project and included a field tour of Kafu Group’s durian plantation and products.

During the visit, both parties engaged in detailed discussions about the cooperation prospects for the Musang King durian project. Dato’ Wong Chong Lin introduced the business development and future plans of Kafu Group and presented various products and data reports, including those related to the Musang King durian series. Chairman Xie Kun expressed a willingness to pursue comprehensive cooperation with Kafu Group, leveraging the strengths of both parties to jointly promote the international market expansion of the Musang King durian project.

• Durian Product Presentation: Dato’ Hwang Chong Lim presented Musang King durian products to Chairman Xie Kun and introduced the processes of durian cultivation, harvesting, and product manufacturing.
• Display of Licenses and Certificates: Various licenses and certificates, including HACCP, GMP, MeSTI, myGAP, HALAL, and GACC, were displayed.
• Product Tasting: Chairman Xie Kun and his team tasted Kafu Group’s Musang King durian coffee.
• Factory Tour: The group toured Kafu Group’s durian product factory to understand the production process and quality management in detail.

The visit further strengthened the cooperative relationship between the World Food and Agriculture Group and Kafu Group, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of the Musang King durian project. Both parties agreed to maintain close contact and advance the specific implementation of the project.

In the afternoon, Chairman Xie Kun and his team will continue with other business activities, including meetings with local government departments and an assessment of the Malaysian market environment.
