3M™ Particulate Respirator 8576, P95, respirator is designed to help provide reliable respiratory protection of at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against certain oil and non-oil based particles. Carbon filter material helps provide relief against nuisance levels of acid gases*.
*3M recommended for relief against nuisance level acid gases. Nuisance levels are less than OHSA PEL or applicable government occupational exposure limits.
Recommended applications may include glass etching, chemical processing, paper processing, aluminum smelting, and brewing operations in which particles and nuisance levels of acid gases such as sulphur dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, and/or chlorine may be present. Additional applications include grinding, sanding, sweeping, bagging, and other dusty/oily operations.
