Indication
In irritant conditions of the skin it acts as an emollient to soften or soothe skin.
Instruction
A thin film of the cream should be applied over affected area 2-3 times daily.
Drug interaction
The activity of hydroxybenzoates can be adversely affected by the presence of other excipients or active ingredients. There may be adsorption onto substances like magnesium trisilicate, aluminium magnesium silicate, talc, polysorbate 80 or plastics. Activity can be affected by nonionic surfactants, essentials oils, atropine, iron, sorbitol, weak alkalis and strong acids.
