• Active Ingredient: Neomycin Sulphate 0.5% w/w.

• Uses: Used for the treatment of skin infections, infected wounds, and burns caused by organisms susceptible to neomycin. It is also used in surgical prophylaxis.
• Mechanism: Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that works by interfering with bacterial protein synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death.

1. Dosage: Apply a small quantity of the cream to the affected area.
2. Administration: Clean and dry the affected area before applying the cream. Gently massage the cream into the skin until it is absorbed.
3. Consistency: Use the medication consistently as directed by your healthcare provider.
4. Duration: Continue using the cream for as long as your doctor recommends, even if your symptoms improve.
5. Precautions: Avoid using the cream on large areas of skin, broken skin, or if you have a fungal infection, herpes simplex, vaccinia, varicella, or extensive open wounds. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
