Giona Easyhaler 200 mcg/Dose Inhalation Powder contains the active ingredient budesonide. Each actuation delivers 200 mcg of budesonide.
Indications:
Giona Easyhaler is used for the treatment of:
Asthma: For the prophylactic management of asthma in patients who require regular treatment with glucocorticoids for control of underlying airway inflammation.
Instructions:
Dosage:
Adults and Adolescents: The usual dose is 200-400 mcg per day, divided into two doses. In severe cases, the dose may be increased up to 1600 mcg per day.
Children (5 years and older): The usual dose is 100-200 mcg twice daily. In severe cases, the dose may be increased up to 800 mcg per day.
Administration:
Shake the inhaler well before each use.
Remove the mouthpiece cover and check for any foreign objects.
Breathe out fully, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and close your lips around it.
Press down on the inhaler to release a dose while breathing in slowly and deeply.
Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take extra doses to make up for the missed dose.
