The SB Pressure Relief Valve by Alfa Laval offers reliable Pressure Relief Solutions for protecting process tanks from overpressure due to overfilling. This Safety Valve is designed to automatically open when internal pressure exceeds a preset threshold, releasing excess liquid and then closing once pressure normalizes. This prevents damage to the tank and ensures safe operation.
Ideal for hygienic applications in the brewery, food, dairy, and beverage industries, the SB Pressure Relief Valve can be installed as a standalone unit or integrated with a SCANDI BREW® tank top system. This Tank Relief Valve is a trusted choice for maintaining product integrity and process safety in pressurized tank environments.

How does SB Pressure Relief Valve work? |
|
The SB Pressure Relief Valve opens automatically when internal pressure exceeds the predefined set point: 0.1 bar above the working pressure for tanks under 1 bar, and 10% above for pressures of 1 bar or more. This Tank Relief Valve should be installed horizontally, with a maximum tilt of 10°; if tilted, the lever arm must face inward toward the tank center. These Pressure Relief Solutions provide safe, consistent performance in high-purity applications. |
