Why Choose Us

Years 4 to 6 mark the consolidation phase of the learning journey. After three years in the foundation stage, students need to prepare for the transition to secondary education. To facilitate this, teachers design a series of curriculum activities aimed at solidifying students’ basic skills and knowledge, helping them to absorb more advanced concepts and deeper knowledge in readiness for secondary school.

During this consolidation phase, students continue with LUCA International School's thematic teaching. Teachers from various subjects collaborate to create interdisciplinary project work for Years 4 to 6. This approach allows students to connect and apply the knowledge and skills acquired across all subjects, fostering an interdisciplinary understanding.

At this stage, students enhance their proficiency in English, Chinese, Malay, Mathematics, Science, and other subjects, laying a robust foundation for future learning. They also develop "independent thinking" skills and nurture core competencies such as "empathy awareness," preparing them for the challenges of secondary education and beyond.
