HDPE Geomembranes are the most widely used products in the world for solid waste containment (such as landfill liners), waste water treatment lagoons, animal waste lagoons, mining and water containment applications where its chemical resistance is used to good effect and cost effective choice for exposed lining projects. HDPE is excellent product which best used as an exposed lining material that has UV and Ozone resistance or high quality installation.
There are two different types of materials that use the highest quality resins to manufacture the widest selection of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) geomembrane products available in either a black, green or white upper surface, and in either a smooth or textured single or double-sided surface. The suitable liner to use is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), commonly called geo-membrane. HDPE is the most chemical resistant type of polyethylene, and offers great ultraviolet protection and ageing resistance from the intense stresses of weather. Usually, the thickness of HDPE liner used is 1–1.5 mm.
HDPE Lining is made from polymeric materials to protect such as concrete and steel. The increasing demand of HDPE geomembranes liners is due to the oxidation of chlorine that is added in water to kill bacteria which eventually corrodes the surface of concrete and steel walls, reinforcement bars and degradation of equipment in tank. This will incur continuous repairs at great expense to the owner.
Our High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane plastic lining systems are used for the containment and management of solids, liquids and gases for various applications including:
