A 10-tablet pack containing propranolol hydrochloride.
Apo-Propranolol 40mg Tablets are indicated for:
Hypertension (high blood pressure)
Angina pectoris (chest pain)
Cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats)
Essential tremor (shaking of hands, head, or voice)
Migraine prophylaxis (prevention of migraines)
Thyrotoxicosis (excess thyroid hormone)
Pheochromocytoma (adrenal gland tumor)
Hypertrophic subaortic stenosis (heart muscle disease)
Post-myocardial infarction (after heart attack)
Dosage: The typical starting dose for hypertension is 40 mg twice daily, which may be increased according to patient response.
Administration:
Take the tablet orally with a full glass of water.
It can be taken with or without food.
Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew or crush.
Precautions:
Do not stop taking this medication suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this may worsen your condition.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of asthma, diabetes, or liver disease.
Monitor your blood pressure and heart rate regularly during treatment.
Side Effects:
