Active Ingredient: Azithromycin Dihydrate
Content: Each 5ml of suspension contains 200mg of Azithromycin.
Indications: Used to treat infections caused by certain bacteria and other micro-organisms, including:
Chest, throat, ear, or nasal infections (such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, acute otitis media, and sinusitis)
Skin and soft tissue infections (such as abscesses or boils)
Sexually transmitted diseases caused by organisms called Chlamydia or Gonorrhoea
Prevention of infections by Mycobacterium avium-intracellulare complex (MAC) in certain individuals
Administration: For oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the prescribed dose using the provided measuring spoon and take it by mouth.
Food Intake: May be taken with or without food. Taking it with meals may reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Alcohol Warning: It is not recommended to consume alcohol with this medication, as it may enhance side effects such as headache, dizziness, fatigue, and blurred vision.
Pregnancy: May be safe to use during pregnancy; however, consult your doctor before use.
Breastfeeding: Not recommended during breastfeeding, as the medication is excreted in breast milk.
Driving: Usually does not affect the ability to drive; however, do not drive if you feel unwell.
Kidney and Liver Impairment: Use with caution in patients with severe kidney or liver impairment; dose adjustment may be necessary.
