- Active Ingredient: Salbutamol Sulphate equivalent to 2mg Salbutamol per 5ml
- Preservatives: Sodium Benzoate 10mg/5ml
Indication:
Asmaliv Syrup is indicated for the relief of bronchospasm in patients with reversible obstructive airway disease, such as asthma and chronic bronchitis.
Instructions:
- Dosage: The usual dosage for adults and children aged 12 years and over is 2mg (5ml) or 4mg (10ml) three or four times a day. For children aged 2-6 years, the dose is 2.5ml to 5ml, and for children aged 6-12 years, the dose is 5ml.
- Administration: Take the syrup orally with water, food, or milk to lessen gastric irritation.
- Precautions: Use with caution in patients with hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, and closed-angle glaucoma. Avoid use in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its components.
- Monitoring: Regularly monitor for any side effects such as tremors, headaches, nervous tension, and tachycardia. Report any adverse effects to your healthcare provider.
